Customizing your scheduler emails

You have the ability to customize the emails that get sent to people who request events with you. To edit your emails, go to the emails page within the scheduler setup.

Approve Email:
This is sent to the requester when you approve an event.
Decline Email: This is sent to the requester when you decline an event.
Cancel Email: This is sent to the requester when you cancel an event.
Reschedule Email: This is sent to the requester when you want to reschedule an event. It will contain a link to your scheduler page so the requester can select a new time..

When editing an email, you'll see a few options:

Subject: This is the subject of the email that will be sent. The merge variable {{type}} can be moved around the subject line. When the email is sent, this merge variable will be replaced with the name of the event type.

Reply-to: By default, the reply-to name and email will be set to the name and email on your account. If you log in with an email such as "careers@example.com", you may want to change the reply-to email to your individual email instead of a forwarder. Make sure you enter a valid email with no typos.

Message body: This content will be included in the body of the email that gets sent. The {{attendee_name}} merge variable will be replaced with the name of the person who requested the event.

When you make changes to an email, click View Preview to see how they look. If you make a change after viewing the preview, click the refresh icon to reload the preview with your changes.

Once you're satisfied with the updates you made to an email, click Save.

If you decide that you want to revert to the default content that Spark Hire provides, click Revert to defaults. This will open a modal that'll ask you to confirm you want to delete the email customizations you've made for this specific email. When you confirm, the page will refresh and the default content will override your customizations.
